Ben’s Ranch Foundation held an open house and ribbon cutting at Koteewi Stable & Trails Feb. 22. Ben’s Ranch recently assumed management and operation of the riding stable at Strawtown Koteewi Park at 11949 Koteewi Dr. The park is on the north side of Noblesville and owned by the Hamilton County Parks & Recreation Department.

Ben’s Ranch Foundation operates and supports programs connecting teens with mental health challenges to jobs on farms, in stables and in equine therapy facilities. The nonprofit organization based in central Indiana was founded by Brose McVey in honor of his late son, Ben, who suffered from mental illness before his unexpected death at 24-years-old.
