Snapshot: Lemon Bar patrons learn art of decorating cupcakes

The Lemon Bar in downtown Zionsville, 95 E. Pine St., played host to a “GALentines Cupcakes & Cocktails” event Jan. 29. The Lemon Bar is a bakery, cafe, restaurant and bar owned by Indianapolis entrepreneur Kate Drury. Drury’s chain of bakeries, The Flying Cupcake, has six cupcake shops, a donut shop and a large catering business. Guests were sent home with three cupcakes they decorated themselves and one sample cupcake from instructors.
Cocktails and mocktails featuring grapefruit and elderberry flavors also were served.
