Police: Teen attacked by man with stun gun

Carmel police are asking for the public help’s in identifying a man who assaulted a 17-year-old girl in the parking lot of a Carmel restaurant Sept 14.

The suspect was described as a white man in his late teens to late 20s. Witnesses described him as approximately 5’10” tall with brown eyes, facial hair near his chin and wearing a hood over his head.

The victim was returning to her car at about 10:40 p.m. in the parking lot outside Biaggi’s restaurant at 14299 Clay Terrace Blvd. when a man approached her and assaulted her with a stun gun, according to a press release from the Carmel Police Department.

The victim was able to fight off the man as multiple onlookers responded to the sounds of her screams, police spokesman Lt. Joe Bickel said.

The man left the scene in a white Oldsmobile Cutlass that was last seen traveling north on Clay Terrace Boulevard approaching 146th Street, the press release said.

The victim sustained minor injuries to her back and was transported to Carmel St. Vincent Hospital, the press release said.
The victim said she didn’t recognize her attacker and that the man said nothing during the assault, Bickel said.
