Earlier today, town leaders along with the corporate heads of Hat World, LLC operating as Lids, stood together as the first shovel of dirt was moved at Creekside Corporate Park.
This step marks the first of many towards the Hat World development of a new corporate headquarters. The company is expected to spend more than $21 million in the construction of the new headquarters, and add at least 750 new jobs.
Lids president Ken Kocher said that the company is celebrating more than 20 years of business in Indiana.
“This building with be the epicenter for Lids as we begin a new venture…and grow our retail market,” he said.
