The Strike Zone, a baseball academy in Fishers, will hold travel tryouts for the 2016 season, from late July through August.
Camp will focus on all aspects of travel tryout evaluations. Camp drills are designed to develop the five tools of a baseball player which include running (speed), arm strength, hitting, power and defensive skills.
The camp will serve as a college showcase and pro tryout format, which is similar to the format of most travel tryout evaluations.
The academy will teach each stage so athletes can be better prepared when their official tryout date arrives.

Cost: $85 for one week, $150 for two weeks, $225 for three weeks
Where: During week one and two, camp will be conducted at the Noblesville Youth Baseball Complex, 3025 Westfield Road, Noblesville. Camp location for week three is TBA.
Camp staff: Wes Whisler, a former White Sox, UCLA, and Indiana Mr. Baseball, Jason Taulman, a former Butler Bulldog, Ball State Cardinal assistant and college baseball student and athlete with travel experience.
