Of the 24 schools competing at the state cross country meet at Northview Church in Carmel on Oct. 3, the Zionsville Middle School girls team placed fourth overall. All-State honors went to Katelyn Wasson and Reagan McCooey. Rounding out those who received state trophies also included Katie Humphries, Sarah Petersen, Sheridan Eggers, Mary Vukovich and Erin Beyer. The ZMS boys placed sixth at the meet. All-state honors went to Logan Cole and Robby Pratt, who won the race in a time of 9:45, setting a school record beating 312 other runners. Zionsville West Middle School’s Anna Settle had a top 25 finish at the meet, placing 21st. The ZWEST’s girls team placed eighth overall, while the boys team placed 11th. (Submitted photos)
