With help from the community, mosaic artist Nancy Keating of the ArtSplash Gallery is creating a series of glass panels resembling a bright, colorful patchwork quilt to be auctioned off to benefit a Hamilton County charity.
More than 30 people have contributed to the mosaic since the “Drawn to the District” event in May completing two of the six panels. Keating hopes to finish the remaining four panels at the Gallery Walks on July 9 and Aug. 13.
The public is invited to help at this free event from 4 to 8 p.m. July 9 under the alcove next to Auntie Em’s. Kids age 6 and older are welcome.
