Fishers Storytime: From 10 to 11 a.m. April 1. Storytime is geared toward older toddlers through preschoolers and their caregiver. Attendees will sing, play and listen to stories followed by an activity or craft and open-play time. Registration isn’t required.
Saving for College is Easier than You Think: This workshop is 7 to 8 p.m. April 1. Attendees will learn about CollegeChoice 529, a way to save for education. Attendees will explore the plan’s online enrollment, tax-advantaged investing and Indiana’s 20 percent state tax credit worth up to $1,000. A CollegeChoice 529 representative will be available to answer questions about the program.
Crafty Teens: Book Page Paper Flowers: From 4 to 5 p.m. April 2 in the Ignite Studio at the library. Teens in grades six through 12 are invited.
Adulting 101: Greener All-Purpose Cleaners: From 7 to 8 p.m. April 3. It is held to celebrate Money Smart Week. Attendees will learn to make easy, inexpensive household cleaners and are encouraged to bring their own containers.
Chop Chop Club: From 5 to 6 p.m. April 4. It will focus mostly on “no-bake” recipes with the occasional use of the microwave. Registration is required, and the event is geared for ages 8 to 14.
Fishers Waggin Tales: Beginning readers can practice their reading skills by reading to a trained therapy dog from 6 to 8 p.m. April 4. To register for 15 minutes of reading time, call 317-579-0304.
LEGO Challenge: Attendees will test their building skills during HEPL’s LEGO Challenge from 6 to 7 p.m. April 8. Attendees can bring their own LEGOs or use the library’s collection. Creations can be left to display at the library. For more, call 317-579-0304. The event is geared toward grades K-5.
