According to a press release from Hamilton Co. Street Dept. Project Manager Joel Thurman, Ditch Road immediately north of 146th Street to Somerville Drive will be closed on or after Sept. 22.
The road is scheduled to be closed to all thru-traffic for a minimum of 66 calendar days, with a tentative opening just prior to Thanksgiving. During the closure, local traffic should utilize the signed detour route of Spring Mill Road, 141st Street and 156th Street.
The closure is part of the improvement to 146th Street that will expand the two-lane roadway to a divided four-lane roadway with a new roundabout intersection at Ditch Road.
