Habitat for Humanity of Boone County ended its 2015 build season with the second annual Women Build. More than 50 women gathered in the parking lot at the Boone Village Shopping Center to build walls for the home, which were loaded onto a float for the annual Fall Festival parade before heading to the build site in Lebanon. All exterior walls and some interior walls were in place by the end of the day. Thirty teams, consisting of 12 women, are working to finance and build the home in eight weeks.
