Even though Lori and Fred Koppold have been photographers for more than 13 years, it wasn’t until this past August they decided to open studio space in downtown Noblesville.

Known as Pictures and Posters Photography since 2003, the couple sold their home in Noblesville to open Tenth Street Photography at 255 S. 10th St, which held its grand opening March 10 with City of Noblesville officials, including Mayor John Ditslear, and representatives of the Noblesville Chamber of Commerce and Noblesville Main Street.

Lori had been working as the business’ primary photography for years before her husband quit his day job to make it the family’s full-time business. Although he helped out before, Lori said the decision has changed their life.

Before moving downtown in August, the business primarily focused on sports and photography, something Lori said began with their own kids.

The couple now lives above the studio space in the home with their dog, Tucker. Together they have three grown sons, Matt, Shane and Seth.

Now, the businesses has evolved into on-site and studio portrait photography for families, seniors and more.
