“Zionsville is an incredible school system doing so many great things for kids,” he said. “My experiences in education and knowledge of the elementary setting are a great match for the collaborative leadership at Eagle and ZCS as a whole.”

Foreman graduated from Anderson University in 2004 with a degree in elementary education. He attended Ball State University for a master’s degree in special education and an administrative license.

After college, Foreman accepted a permanent substitute teacher position in the Hamilton Southeastern School district. He has taught in second-, third- and fourth-grade classrooms the past 13 years. During the 2015-16 school year, he became the teacher development specialist in the HSE district before becoming the assistant principal at Hoosier Road Elementary the following year.

Foreman, his wife, and soon-to-be three children live in Broad Ripple but are in the process of moving to Zionsville. He said he is excited to not only work at Eagle but also be a parent of a student as his oldest child will start kindergarten.

“I am really looking forward to working with the staff and families,” Foreman said. “I have met so many great folks already and have been warmly welcomed into the Eagle community.”

Foreman said his goal is to support the teacher’s practices and build relationships with staff and families at Eagle.
