Cheng takes Senior Showcase best of show — Hamilton Southeastern High School’s Yibei Cheng won the best of show at the Fishers Arts Council Senior Showcase. Cheng earned $500 for the accomplishment.
Grace Supanik took first place, Callie Waligora second and Courtney Broyles third in the drawing competition. All three are from Hamilton Southeastern and earned $250 each.
In the photography category, Chayton Davidson was first, Karissa Stiner second and Maddie Gibbs third. Davidson is from HSE and Stiner and Gibbs are from Fishers High School. Each earned $150.
In the painting division, Maxwell Reid placed first, Emi Shima second and Caroline Kridle third. All three are from FHS and earned $100 each.
Symphony on the Prairie features 30-plus shows — Kroger Symphony on the Prairie opens with Broadway’s Rock of Ages band June 1 at Conner Prairie Amphitheatre in Fishers.
