Maxine G. Holmes, 96, Noblesville, died Aug. 11 at Riverwalk Village in Noblesville. She was born on Sept. 14, 1918 to Calvin and Francis (Chamberlin) Mushrush in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio.
Maxine was a member of Noblesville First United Methodist Church and a lifetime member of Delta Sigma Kappa. She was also an avid bridge player.
Maxine is survived by her daughter, Becky (Alan) Harper; son, R.B. (Carol) Holmes; four grandchildren, Rob Holmes, Arnold Holmes, Jaysi Madigan, and Abbey Harper; and eight great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Holmes; and brother, Otis Mushrush.
