Former Subway spokesman and Zionsville resident Jared Fogle is facing federal charges of traveling to engage in illicit sexual conduct with a minor and distribution and receipt of child pornography, according to a document released by federal prosecutors.

The document, released Aug. 19, states that at least 12 minors were involved in child pornography and two took part in sex acts.

Fogle is expected to take a plea deal, according to reports. Details have not been confirmed, but he is likely to spend between five and 12 years in prison, according to media reports.

Subway issued a statement on its Twitter account on Tuesday, Aug. 18.

“We no longer have a relationship with Jared and have no further comment,” it stated.
