Former Carmel City Councilman John Accetturo issued a challenge last week to his fellow County Council candidates.
Accetturo is one of seven Republican candidates who will be on the ballot in May’s primary election seeking three at-large seats on the County Council. Accetturo, who served one term on the City Council, last week challenged his opponents to participate in a series of debates across the county.
“It is time that the taxpayers of Hamilton County get some transparency from the candidates for County Council,” Accetturo’s campaign committee said in a release. “Voters need to know what the candidates stand for before they vote.”
Joining Accetturo as at-large candidates for the council are Bruce Breeden, Andrew Dollard, Angie Molt and incumbents Brad Beaver, Jim Belden and Rick McKinney.
