The Carmel Ice Hounds Blue Team defeated Summit City, 3-2, in overtime to win the Indiana High School Hockey Association 1A State Championship.
Danny Popowics scored the game winner, and Joe Stebbins was stellar in goal.
The Carmel Ice Hounds Gold Team lost a heartbreaker to Leo, 2-1, in double overtime to finished runner up in 4A.
