Moontown Brewing Company in Whitestown held its inaugural Oktoberfest Oct. 6. The entire facility, including the brewpub, event space, outdoor seating and garden lawn was utilized for the festivities, which included beer tappings, a German costume contest, live music, cornhole competitions and more. The 21-and-over event was attended by more than 400 people.
“We had a blast and had tons of positive feedback for it being our first year, including a whole lot of love for the authentic beer garden decor and our new Oktoberfest beer, Follow The Lederhosen,” said Georgia Rheinhardt, Moontown marketing and events manager. “We were able to exceed our sales goal and can’t wait to continue to grow this event.”
