CEF fundraiser to air on Channel 99

Last week, the Carmel Education Foundation held its 27th annual CEF Showcase at Clay Middle School. The four-hour showcase featured performances from nine different elementary choirs and two middle school choirs and ensembles. Family and friends were able to see children perform as part of CEF’s largest annual public event. The showcase was free, although donations were accepted the evening of the performance.

The East Side Mass Choir led by directors Dori Gallinat, Lindsey Ratney Priscilla Shaw and Lisa Sullivan included choirs from Hazel Dell Elementary, Woodbrook Elementary, Prairie Trace Elementary and Mohawk Trails Elementary.

CEF’s next event is its 27th annual telethon, its primary fundraiser each year. The telethon will take place from March 12 to 14 on Carmel High School student-run television channel CHTV airing on Brighthouse Networks’ channel 99.
