Why did you become a teacher: I always looked up to and respected certain teachers and coaches in school.

What goals do you have for your students: I want students to be prepared to be successful at the next step of their education and to realize their full potential by achieving at the highest possible academic level.

What do you encourage parents to do at home to help their children strengthen particular skills?

Parents should communicate with their children about school. Know what is going on both academically and socially. Understand your child’s strengths and weaknesses by keeping up with their achievement levels. Partner with your child to foster their strengths and improve their weaknesses.

What’s something your students might not know about you? I grew up in Westfield and attended Westfield schools for 12 years.
