Like many mothers, Amy Moshier is a proud soccer mom. The Fishers resident also enjoys the local community, gardening, writing, editing and music.

“I’m passionate about music and playing the piano in my spare time,” Moshier said. “My favorite Fishers activity is to attend Symphony on the Prairie; I have a love for classical music and outdoors – it’s a natural fit.”

Moshier, who has an 8-year-old son, Eli, is a freelance writer and editor. Writing, she said, is “such a wonderful method of creative expression. I feel like it’s something I’ll never lose.”

In her spare time, Moshier grows peppers and herbs and uses them to cook. She also reads parenting, spiritual and devotional books, and said that letting “God be my light,” matters most to her.

She and her son both love animals. They have a cat, Amelia, and two hamsters: Hammy and Macy.

Moshier said that, “seeing Eli be happy and succeed,” makes her happy, in addition to “contributing to charitable causes and watching those have a positive effect on society.”
