Grand Park and Bullpen Tournaments will host Notre Dame and Virginia Tech at 4:30 p.m. March 22 in the first ACC baseball series played in the state of Indiana. Originally the Division I game was scheduled to take place at the U.S. Steel Yard in Gary, but due to field concerns from the harsh weather the game has been relocated to Grand Park Championship Field D-1.

“This is only Grand Park’s second weekend of play and already we have the Fighting Irish coming to break in the diamonds,” Mayor Andy Cook stated. “Grand Park is more than just sports fields, it’s a place where athletes can perform their best and that’s why Notre Dame was confident enough to reschedule their first ACC game here at Grand Park.”

Admission is $5 and because of construction delays from the harsh weather, fans are welcome to bring their own chairs as stadium seating isn’t available at this time.
