State Sen. Luke Kenley (R-Noblesville) recently welcomed the following Westfield students to the Statehouse to serve as Senate pages: Aaron Coulombe, Andrew Dennison, Maren Fitschen and Owen Longest of Westfield Middle School; Anne Huesing, Conner Osswald, Grace Piper and Caleb Sanburn of Westfield High School; and Will Poynter and Mary Kate Ward of St. Maria Goretti Catholic School.
Pages spend a day at the Statehouse, touring the historic building, observing debates from the chamber floor and interacting with their state senators. Students in grades six through 12 can participate in the page program on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays during the legislative session.
