David Lynn Johnson, 52, of Noblesville, died June 6, 2014 at his residence. Born April 15, 1962 in Russell County, Va., he was the son of Alfred and Frances (Casteel) Johnson.
He was a sensational and dedicated husband, father, son, brother and grandfather. He worked as a heavy equipment transporter. He spent his life as a local “gearhead” dedicated to improving anything with a motor that crossed over into his garage. He had a drive and a passion for anything with a motor, wheels and speed.
Survivors include his wife, Misty (Haskett) Johnson; father, Alfred (Jeanne) Johnson; son, Joshua (Renee) Johnson; stepson, Lee (Kody) Haskett; stepdaughters, Arianna Brooks and Eva (John) Helton; grandchildren, Braelyn, Hayden, Luvisa, Leah, Kaiden and Quintin; brother, Shane Johnson; and niece, Jodie Jamiet.
He was preceded in death by his mother and sister, Judy Johnson Sparks.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. June 10 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan St., Noblesville, with the Rev. Larry Horn officiating. Visitation is 4 to 8 p.m. June 9 at the funeral home.
