Zionsville Town Council to hold meeting next Tuesday, Sept. 2

 On Sept. 2, on a rare Tuesday meeting, the Zionsville Town Council will gather to discuss several items of business.

There will be a presentation from the four Zionsville Community High School freshman girls who were the force behind the new crosswalk in Whitestown, at the intersection of at Whitestown Parkway and CR 700 East.

New items on the agenda include a public hearing regarding the consideration of an additional appropriation resolution from the Food and Beverage Fund to provide $25,000 in economic development incentives to Smart IT.

The council will also consider an additional appropriation resolution from the Food and Beverage Fund, at a price of $74,900.00, to provide funding for an additional engineering study.

The meeting will be at 7 p.m., inside the Beverly Harves Meeting Room at 1100 West Oak St.

The next regular Town Council meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m., Monday, Oct. 6.
