Teaching our children to value and care for their physical fitness from an early age is critical to their overall well-being and ability to fully engage life’s unlimited opportunities.  The education and movement experiences provided by Physical Education classes at the elementary level are essential to laying this foundation. The current school funding situation has caused many school districts to have to cut jobs, close schools, and eliminate programs.

Zionsville Community Schools was not untouched by this, and we all have felt the loss of programs in our schools, specifically physical education at the elementary level. Body Outfitters Personal Training Studio in Zionsville, along with the residents of the town, is concerned by this situation but believes this community’s people, businesses, and leaders have the energy, passion, and resources to be part of the solution to this PE deficit.

Why is BO getting involved?

Two of our company’s Core Values align us with this initiative.
1.) Body Outfitters is committed to directing people of all ages towards better physical care.

2.) Body Outfitters is committed to serving the community through our passion for physical fitness.

Our Initiative

Body Outfitters has established “PE for Life” to provide financial support to Physical Education in Zionsville Elementary Schools.  Our initial goal to jumpstart this fund is $10,000, of which Body Outfitters will contribute $2000.  We aim to raise $8000 through “Chin Ups for Children,” our upcoming event at the Zionsville Fall Festival on Sept. 5 through Sept. 7.
