Harry Miller, 89, of Carmel, passed away Aug.29. He was born on July 10, 1925 in Tulsa, OK. He studied Petroleum Refining and received his Bachelor of Science and his Master of Science degree from the University of Tulsa.
Before retiring in FL, then moving to Carmel, Joe was the Director of Engineering with the Philadelphia Pennsylvania based Sun Company.
Joe was a veteran of the US Army. He also served in the US Air Force Reserve. For a number of years, Joe was active in the Gideons International.
Survivors include his loving wife of 67 years, Betty June Byers Miller; son, Dr. John M. (Jeanne) Miller; daughter, Margaret C. (Stafford) Walker; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and one brother.
The funeral service will be held Sept. 3, at 1:30 p.m. in Faith Missionary Church, of which Joe was a member, located at 9125 N. College Avenue, Indianapolis, IN.
