Hendricks Commercial Properties announced today that Sangiovese Ristorante will be a new tenant at Ironworks at Keystone. The 3,000-square foot, locally-owned, upscale Italian eatery that has a long history on the north side of Indianapolis, is expected to open by January.
“I couldn’t be more excited. This is one of the best locations on the north side of Indianapolis. It has great parking, visibility and access, and this is perfect space for what we do,” said Chris Evans, owner. “The restaurant is a little smaller and more intimate. The experience for our customers will be what we’ve done the past 20 years. ”
The highlights of the Sangiovese include:
- An open-concept design with a porcelain floor, hardwood tables with seating for 68 and an exposed brick back wall.
- A 24-foot long bar with 16 barstools
- Two semi-private dining areas, one with seating for 16 and the other for 8
- Wine on draft system along with offerings from local breweries
In other new tenant news, Ironworks also will be home to Vogue Nail Salon, which will open in November. The salon will offer manicures, pedicures, waxing services and additional spa treatments.
Hendricks broke ground on Ironworks at Keystone in April 2013. The $30 million mixed-use development sits at the southwest corner of East 86th Street and Keystone Avenue. Now complete, as of September 15, 2014, the building features 120 residential apartments and 36,000-square feet of retail storefronts and restaurants. Ironworks is anchored by Ruth’s Chris Steak House, which opened August 18, 2014. Please stay tuned for more news on new retailers and restaurateurs coming to Ironworks.
