Violet A. Wolfe, 101, of Noblesville, died Oct. 12, 2014 at Harbour Manor Care Center in Noblesville. Born March 24, 1913 in Dot, Va., she was the daughter of Roy and Myrtle (Maness) Bishop.
She was a homemaker and had worked at Firestone Industrial Products for 22 years. She a member of Noblesville Baptist Church; a veteran of civil service; and an avid quilter.
Survivors include her daughters, Anna (Allen) Wallace and Betty (Ray) Smith; son, Ben (Shirley) Wolfe; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Macel A. Wolfe; great-grandson, Carson Wallace; and one brother and sister.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Oct. 16 at Noblesville Baptist Church, 1338 E. Pleasant St., Noblesville, with the Rev. Seth Leeman and the Rev. Gene Parker officiating. Visitation is 4 to 8 p.m. Oct. 15 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan St., Noblesville. Burial will be at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens in Indianapolis.
