Belfry actors honored for roles

The Belfry Theatre, 10690 Greenfield Ave., Noblesville, took home two trophies from the 45th annual Encore Association Awards at The Toby at the Indianapolis Museum of Art on Oct. 27. The Belfry had 29 nominations for different Encore Awards, which recognize 11 nonprofessional theatre groups.

“Miracle on South Division Street” won both awards – Diann Ryan for best lead actress in a comedy and Pam Young for best production of a comedy. Jonathon Young and Lilly Schwab, who performed in this summer’s youth apprentice show “Godspell,” were the Belfry’s recipients of the 2014 Rising Star award.
