ZCHS students in Chinese III, V, and VI visited the Confucius Institute at IUPUI for a Kung Fu demonstration during a recent field trip.
The ZCHS band performed to the community and high school students during the Veteran’s Day convocation last Tuesday. The band performed songs of the armed forces and recognized veterans of the community during the performance of their military song. In addition, there were student speakers who recited poems, explained the history of Veteran’s Day and thanked the veterans for their service.
ZCHS students from the Sports Marketing class had the opportunity to visit Lucas Oil Stadium during a recent field trip. While visiting the stadium, they were able to discuss with the director of Lucas Oil Stadium, Mike Fox, and the director of the Indiana Convention Center, Debbie Hennessey, about important elements of the stadium and the tourism/convention industry. Students were also given a tour inside the Colts locker room.
