Gladys B. Smith, 96, of Noblesville died Jan. 28, 2015 at Harbour Manor Care Center in Noblesville. Born June 23, 1918 in Rockcastle County, Ky., she was the daughter of Robert and Georgia (Bales) Dees.
She was a homemaker, who loved being a mother and grandmother; and loved to read. She also loved the NASA Space program and never missed a launch.
Survivors include her sons, Robert Louis Smith and Ronald Lee Smith; daughter, Linda C. (Mike) Benson; eight grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, William L. Smith, who passed away in 1972.
Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Jan. 31 at Highland Cemetery in Ft. Mitchell, Ky.
