Martin Raymond Leer, 75, of Cicero, died Jan. 29, 2015 at Riverview Health in Noblesville. Born Feb. 4, 1939 in Noblesville, he was the son of George and Myrtle (Coats) Leer.
He retired from the Noblesville Fire Dept. in 1996 after 26 years of service; and also had been employed at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home in Noblesville for 42 years. He attended Omega Christian Church in Arcadia.
Survivors include his wife, Jane Leer; son, Glenn (Lora) Leer; daughters, Dana (Eddie) Smith and Jennifer (Glenn) Edwards; brothers, John Leer, Don Leer and George Leer; 11 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Ruth Hamby.
Funeral services were held Feb. 1 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan St., Noblesville, with the Rev. Neal Brown officiating.
