Market District is hosting a hiring event on June 6 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Sheraton Indianapolis Hotel at Keystone at the Crossing. They are looking for people who love food and who are skilled and passionate about delivering exceptional guest service. There are more than 500 positions available for the new Market District store in Carmel opening this fall at 116th Street and Spring Mill Road.
“Market District continues to evolve beyond the traditional supermarket experience, which opens up the realm of possibilities for new, exciting jobs in Central Indiana,” Mike Maraldo, regional vice president of operations at Giant Eagle, Inc., stated in a press release. “Each of our new Team Members will be a part of the introduction of Market District’s one-of-a-kind, destination store concept, which combines the best of the everyday grocery needs with unique offerings and services not found elsewhere in the state.”
Any interested job candidate can learn more about Market District and their available, food-oriented careers at the hiring event. They will be interviewed onsite, and will also be able to meet team leaders, sample food products and see the Market District food truck.
There will also be sign-on bonuses for certain positions.
