Billy Jones, 80, Noblesville, died June 22 at Riverview Health in Noblesville. He was born on Jan. 31, 1935 to Willie and Martha (Jones) Jones in Manchester, Ky.
For more than 30 years, Billy worked in the saw mill at Curry-Miller Veneering in Indianapolis. He enjoyed fishing, playing guitar and sharing stories with friends and family. Billy loved animals and enjoyed reading the Bible. Most of all, he was a wonderful husband and father who cherished spending time with his family.
Billy is survived by his wife, Irene Jones; children, Janet (Mark) Shibata, Clint (Paula) Jones, Joyce (Allen) Rigney, Helen (Larry) Pullum and Chris Jones; siblings, Axie, Warden, Roy and Bonnie; grandchildren, Angel, Sabrina Tabitha and Ashley Bir, BJ and Cristopher Truett, Nikki Kelley, Duke Jones, Jennifer, Amanda and Shane Beach, Brandon Jones and Brian, Bradley, Jasmine and Taylor Jones; and several great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sons, Frankie and Earl Jones; grandson, Joshua Truett; and sister, Ola Bowling.
