“The ‘Side by Side’ program is a fantastic opportunity for young musicians to experience both the challenges and the rewards of being part of an elite professional orchestra,” said “Side by Side” conductor Vince Lee. “I’m a firm believer in paying my experiences forward, so it’s a joy and privilege to be mentoring the next generation of talent.”

The concert will feature professional ISO musicians and their high school protégés performing Verdi’s Overture to “La forza del destino,” Glazunov’s “Autumn” from “The Seasons,” Op.67 and Ravel’s orchestration of Mussorgsky’s “Pictures at an Exhibition.”
