The first OneZone luncheon for Fishers Mayor Scott Fadness’ State of the City went so well, OneZone officials will conduct it again.

The second Fishers Mayor’s State of the City address will be at 11:30 a.m. Feb. 10, at the Forum Conference Center, 11313 USA Parkway.

“It was extremely well received,” Dan Canan, OneZone executive vice president, said. “The mayor did a very nice job of outlining opportunities that were going on in the city, obstacles and challenges. He did a very a nice job of presenting his vision for Fishers. In my opinion and from others, it was received with very high marks.”

OneZone, the merged Carmel and Fishers chambers of commerce, host Carmel Mayor Jim Brainard’s State of the City in October each year. Canan said OneZone officials are honored to host both addresses.

“Both mayors stay around and answer questions anyone might have after the fact,” Canan said. “We have great crowds for both events. Last year there was a lot of anticipation for the first year for Mayor Fadness and the first year Fishers was the city. The State of the Town was given by council presidents previously.”

Fadness was sworn in on Dec. 22, 2014.

Luncheon check-in begins at 11 a.m. and the event is slated to end at 1 p.m. For reservations, register at onezonecommerce.com or call 436-4653. Reservations must by made by noon on Feb. 8.

The cost is $20 for OneZone members who prepay and $25 for guests and walk-ins, regardless of membership. Corporate tables of eight cost $200 for members and $250 for non-members.
