Locals and visitors looking to sample the multitude of dining, shopping and art-viewing options that Zionsville offers can give back to a charitable cause in the same swipe with “Savor, Sip and See Zionsville” this May.
Presented by Tri-Kappa’s Zionsville chapter, Savor, Sip, and See allows participants to pay toward a one-night tour of Zionsville’s various restaurants, breweries, and art shops, the proceeds of which benefit Zionsville schools, non-profit organizations, and student grants and scholarships.
Participants purchase a $50 ticket and are given a map and schedule listing participating locations along Zionsville’s brick Main Street. Last year, Tri-Kappa raised more than $13,000.
“This is one of our biggest events, and everyone loves the brick Main Street area,” Tri-Kappa Zionsville event co-chair Marissa Grant said. “It’s hopefully one of the first good nights of the new season and businesses love it because they can keep their doors open a bit later and make new customers.”
Participating businesses include Patrick’s Restaurant, Cobblestone Grill, the Salty Cowboy, and many more for a total of 20. A beer tent is also arranged to provide drinks. The night is segmented into three main times: 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. for appetizers, 7 p.m. to 8p.m. for main courses, and 8 p.m. to 9 p.m. for desserts.
Tri-Kappa is a statewide non-profit organization of women focused on promoting charity, culture, and education in various communities across Indiana.
“I’m not originally from Indiana, but I feel like I’m involved in my community now because of it,” Grant said.
Savor, Sip, and See is scheduled for May 7 at 6 p.m. Tickets are $50 per person, and can be purchased through ZionsvilleTriKappa.org by clicking on the event listing.
