The Market District Teachers of the Month for April are Fall Creek Elementary third grade teachers Ailee Howard and Amy Schank. They were nominated by student Katherine McGuire, who won a pizza party lunch for her class. Howard and Schank each also received $25 gift cards to Market District.
Here is Katherine’s winning essay:
Hi my name is Katherine McGuire. I’m in the third grade at Fall Creek Elementary. I have two teachers. Their names are Mrs. Howard and Mrs. Schank. What I like about them is they always help us when we need it. We always get to do hands on stuff in science and we also get to do some really fun things in language arts like centers. In reading we always do things related to the season we’re in. In math we always have a lesson before we have a worksheet on it. I hope you enjoyed learning about them, bye!
