Zionsville-based MOBI Wireless Management LLC has plans to more than double its workforce in the next five years. The company, which employs more than 300 people, will add up to 521 jobs.

“You’ll see many of the current jobs that we have within MOBI,” said CEO  Scott Kraege, also the firm’s co-founder.

The jobs will expand existing roles in technology, engineers, software developers, service desk and administration.

Within the next six to nine months the $11.5 million office expansion will be underway at the company’s Northwest Technology Park headquarters. It will increase the location by more than 50,000 square feet. The company had also been considering a move to Arizona but decided to stay local.

“When you grow at the scale we’re growing right now, you just always are hoping to stay one step ahead in construction build out,” Kraege said. “It will continue to stay on the same trajectory we’ve been on over the last few years.”

The company will receive $3 million in conditional tax incentives and training grants from the Indiana Economic Development Corp.,  along with additional incentives from Boone County Economic Development Corp. and the Town of Zionsville.

“Boone County has been more than fair and has provided us with a tremendous opportunity to grow in Boone County,” Kraege said.

MOBI, founded in 2009, has increased its workforce five times in the last six years, adding 90 new employees in 2015.

MOBI’s software platform centralizes the management of mobile technology.

“The employee today is different than the employee 10 years ago,” Kraege said. “That has created a unique need for companies to better manage mobile devices.”
