Carmel Fire Dept. puts out fire in home near Clay Terrace


The Carmel Fire Dept. put out a fire at a home near Clay Terrace on Monday afternoon.

CFD firefighter and spokesman Tim Griffin said crews found smoke when they arrived at 303 Walter St. and were able to put the blaze out quickly.

“The whole thing was about 50 minutes in total that they were there,” he said, adding that no one was inside the home and that no injuries were reported.
