According to a probable cause affidavit, Kenneth “Andy” Arnold, 28, of Zionsville is accused of touching two InterActive Academy gymnasts who were 12 years old or younger under their leotards in their vaginal area as they practiced skills. A third gymnast told police he touched her on the buttocks on multiple occasions.

The gymnasts told investigators the alleged incidents took place between October 2013 and December 2015.

The affidavit also states that in mid-2015 Arnold had “been counseled regarding concerns over his touching of students.” Police interviewed a witness who alerted InterActive officials after “she observed a prior incident in which Arnold was touching the girls more than she felt necessary” by tickling them and placing his hand in a “vertical position on/near their pelvic bone.”

In February, InterActive Academy sent a letter to parents stating that Arnold was no longer employed after a parent had contacted law enforcement about improper touching.

Arnold is being held without bond in the Boone County Jail.
