The Zionsville Town Council recently approved the adoption of the schedule of meetings for 2017. Changes include a shift in dates for the monthly Town Council meetings. Town Council meetings will generally take place the first Monday of the month at 7 p.m. at Town Hall and the third Monday of the month (instead of the last Monday of the month) at 7:30 a.m. at Town Hall.
In 2017, there will be new hours for Town Court. Beginning Jan. 19, initial hearings will begin at 5:30 p.m. (instead of 6 p.m.) and trials will begin at 6 p.m. (instead of 7 p.m.). Town Court sessions are held every third Thursday of the month.
Also in 2017, Mayor Tim Haak, in collaboration with town department heads, will host a new bi-yearly series “Mayor’s Night In.” Residents, neighborhood associations and businesses interested in learning more about town happenings and initiatives are invited to Town Hall March 1 and Nov. 1 (dates are subject to change). Those attending will have the opportunity to ask questions and connect with town officials.

Meetings at 7 p.m. are Jan. 2, Feb. 6, March 6, April 10, May 1, June 5, July 3, Aug. 7, Sept. 5, Oct. 2, Nov. 6 and Dec. 4. Meetings at 7:30 a.m. are Jan. 17, Feb. 21, March 20, April 17, May 15, June 19, July 17, Aug. 21, Sept. 18, Oct. 23, Nov. 20 and Dec. 18.
