Led by police escort members of the community and the Special Olympics, athletes run the torch into Lions Park.

The Boone County Unified Torch Relay celebrated the 50th anniversary of Special Olympics Indiana on July 14. Members of the community and the Special Olympics athletes, Led by Zionsville Police Dept. officers, ran the torch through town into Lions Park. The event benefits nearly 14,000 Special Olympics athletes in Indiana. (Photos by Dawn Pearson)
