Zionsville Park Board announces play area for Elm Street Green

On July 29, the Zionsville Park Board announced plans for a new play area at Elm Street Green, 165 N. Elm St.

The announcement comes as part of the Zionsville Parks and Recreation Five Year Master Plan. The play area will be an adventure space, designed for children ages 6 to 10. It will include climbing boulders and a climbing net.

Construction is expected to begin this year, depending on bid results and overall cost. The completion date has not yet been announced. Funding is already approved and provided by elected officials during this year’s budget cycle.
