A Boone County woman has tested positive for the new coronavirus, Indiana State Dept. of Health officials reported.
The woman is believed to have contracted COVID-19, the disease stemming from the new coronavirus, while at a wedding in Indiana. One of the people diagnosed over the weekend with the disease after returning from Boston attended the wedding.
Dr. Herschell Servies, who practices at Witham Health Services in Lebanon, said he believes, “We are beyond containment; we are now into mitigation.”
