The Carmel Winter Farmers Market was open March 14, one of the few events not canceled St. Patrick’s Day weekend because of the coronavirus pandemic. Market officials encouraged shoppers to avoid handshakes and stay home if they felt sick. The March 21 market is set to take place in the parking lot of The Wire Factory, 510 3rd Ave. SW.
