The Indiana State Dept. of Health today announced 313 additional Indiana residents have contracted COVID-19, the disease caused by the new coronavirus.
That brings to 8,527 the total number of Indiana residents known to have the virus following corrections to the previous day’s total.
A total of 387 Hoosiers have died to date. Deaths are reported based on when data are received by the ISDH and occurred over multiple days.
To date, 46,017 tests have been reported to the ISDH, up from 44,539 on Monday.
