ISDH reports 430 additional COVID-19 cases

The Indiana State Dept. of Health today announced 430 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19, bringing to 38,033 the total number of Indiana residents known to have the new coronavirus, following corrections.

As of today, nearly 39 percent of ICU beds and more than 82 percent of ventilators are available.

A total of 2,158 Hoosiers have died from COVID-19, an increase of 23 since yesterday. Another 181 probable deaths have been reported based on clinical diagnoses in patients for whom no positive test is on record. Deaths are reported based on when data is received by the ISDH and occurred over multiple days.

To date, 315,390 tests have been reported to the ISDH, up from 309,503 on Monday.
