The Indiana State Dept. of Health today announced 763 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19, bringing to 58,673 the total number of Indiana residents known to have the new coronavirus.
As of today, nearly 37 percent of ICU beds and more than 82 percent of ventilators are available statewide.
A total of 2,666 Hoosiers have died from COVID-19, an increase of 14 since yesterday. Another 197 probable deaths have been reported based on clinical diagnoses in patients for whom no positive test is on record. Deaths are reported based on when data is received by the ISDH and occurred over multiple days.
To date, 654,413 tests have been reported to the ISDH, up from 644,805 on Tuesday.
